Children in kindergarten through the sixth grade will begin each Sunday worship service by joining their parents in the main sanctuary for a time of praise and worship together as a family. On the first Sunday of the month, children remain in the main service to continue to worship with their families and experience a special “Kids Korner” message. On the second, fourth and fifth Sundays, children are dismissed to attend a special time of worship called Junior Church where we want children to:
- Learn about Jesus
- Live for Jesus
- Let others know about Jesus
Using age level appropriate music, stories, object lessons, short films and videos, children will understand that they are special in God’s Kingdom and will begin to open up their hearts and minds to receive the “Good News” of Jesus Christ and to have a desire to share that love through Wesleyan Kids For Missions (WKFM).
It is our privilege to partner with parents, grandparents and other significant adults in a child’s life as we embark on this journey together. The precious children that have been entrusted to our loving care are a treasure to us as well. We believe there is no greater call that to make a difference in the life of a child. Join us, anytime, and see what we mean!
